Bengali Tola is a busy alley network that runs parallel to the River Ganges, lined with a number of shops and restaurants to interest the passerby and visitor alike. There are several ghats located here for specific deities, some of which include the Mansarover and the Narada Ghats. Another interesting attraction of the Bengali Tola is the fact that it happens to be home to a thriving idol production industry which specialises in using entirely natural raw materials only. In addition to all its accolades, this also happens to be the birthplace of Rani Laxmi Bai, an iconic figure in the Indian Freedom Struggle. Within the vicinity there are quite a few shops that specialize in metal work and jewellery as well as incense and oils, such as the Sri Guru Perfumes store.
